Tutorial: Etched in Nature Collage Card

 

I really struggled as to whether or not to use this stamp set at my June stamping class.  Currently the Etched in Nature Stamp Set is not available to order but I am hoping Stampin' Up! will allow customers to order it soon as it is such a beautiful stamp set.  Because it might be the only time my group of stampers would be able to use it I did decide to let them make this card.  It also uses the Very Versailles Stamp Set which is available to order.  

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Score a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Very Vanilla cardstock and score at 4-1/4” for your card base.

2. Cut a a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock to measure 4” x 5-1/4” and adhere to the front of the card.

3. Stamp a 3-3/4” x 5” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the words from the Very Versailles stamp set in Sahara Sand ink.

4. Stamp the bird from the Etched in Nature stamp set in Early Espresso ink over the words.

5. Stamp the butterfly and the flower images from the Etched in Nature stamp set in Soft Succulent ink.

6. Tie a 3/8” Open Weave Soft Succulent Ribbon around the stamped cardstock. Adhere to the front of the card.
