Sometimes you need just the right card to put a smile on the face of someone who is a little under the weather. This card will surely do just that and it is so simple to make. It uses the Back on Your Feet Stamp Set and a little coloring (I used Stampin' Blends but watercolor pencils would work). You could make several of these in minutes to have on hand.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Score a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Thick Basic White cardstock at 4-1/4” for your card base.
- Cut a piece of 4” x 5-1/4” Thick Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the turtle from the Back on Your Feet stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Color the turtle using Stampin’ Blends. (Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green). On a piece of Post It Note, stamp the turtle again and cut out. Place over your stamped turtle for a mask.
- Cut out a scrap piece of 4” x 5-1/4” cardstock and cut out a square in the top center to use as a stencil. Holding it over the stamped piece of cardstock, gently sponge Balmy Blue ink around the edges of the square. Remove your stencil and take off the turtle mask.
- Stamp the “Hope you’re back on your feet soon.” in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink under the turtle .
- Add a piece of Braided Linen Trim to the side of the stamped cardstock. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Stamp “Get Well Soon” from the Timeless Tulips stamp set inside the card.
