Tutorial: Peaceful Cabin Christmas Card

Today's holiday card is really a very pretty winter scene and the picture just doesn't do it justice.  It's is a 6" x 3" card, perfect to duplicate and drop in the mail!  

   

INSTRUCTIONS:  

1. Cut a piece of 6” x 6” Basic White Thick cardstock and score at 3” — this will be the card base.

2. Cut a piece of Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper that measures just a little smaller than 6” x 3” and adhere to the front of the card.

3. Stamp a piece of 3-1/4” x 2-1/2” Whisper White cardstock with the cabin from the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set in Basic Gray Ink.  Cut out the cabin using the Cabin Dies.

4. Place the intricate design from the Cabin Dies over the cabin and cut out.

5. Cut out another cabin from a piece of 3-1/4” x 2-1/2” Silver Foil. Adhere behind the stamped cabin using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere to the bottom of the card.

6. Stamp an oval with the “Wishing you the best” in Basic Gray Ink. Adhere to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8. Tie a bow with the Real Red Braided Linen Trim and adhere to the front of the card.
9. Stamp your sentiment inside the card.

Sweet Little Puppy Stocking Card

Are you looking for a cute Christmas card to send someone who loves cuddly puppies?  This card was created by my downline Debbie Newman (Martinsville).  She used the Sweet Little Stockings Stamp Set along with the Stockings Dies from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.  The paper she used was the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper.  Of course, if you are a kitten lover, there's a cute little kitten stamp in the set!
