Tutorial: Gingerbread Card

Today's Christmas card features the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder and the Gingerbread Dies.  This card is easy to make and the gingerbread looks good enough to eat!

 

  Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” Basic White Thick cardstock and score at 4-1/4” — this will be the card base.

2. Emboss a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Basic White cardstock with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the front of the card. 

3. Cut a 2” x 5” piece of Old Olive cardstock and punch out the top using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.

4. Adhere a 1-3/4” x 4-1/4” piece of Gingerbread & Peppermint   Designer Series Paper to the tag.  Tie a piece of Baker’s Twine to the top of the tag and adhere to the front of the card. 

5. Cut out a solid star shape and solid bell shape in Crumb Cake cardstock using Gingerbread Dies.

7. Cut out the intricate star and bell shapes in Basic White cardstock and adhere to the solid shapes. Adhere to the front of the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
8. Stamp a 1/2” x 3-1/4” piece of Basic White cardstock with the “happy holidays” from the Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  Using your scissors or a 2” Square Punch, make a V cut on the end of the strip.  Adhere to the front of the card
9. Stamp the inside of the card with “Wishing you a Merry Christmas” from the Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set.
